When the sky opened up…
She was happy with whatsoever space
She got between the walls.
When heard a feeble voice, from a corner,
talking about the sky,
At that moment
became curious about the sky.
I will tie the sky in my veil.
The sky opened up higher and higher,
Astonishing patterns of lined clouds,
Scarlet light.
Yearning for the desire of the desire,
She became crazy of watching the sky.
Got afflicted by seeing the evening sky
in her backyard…
Wanted to go beyond the walls
up towards the sky.
Creating the wings,
painted feathers on it.
One day,morning and evening
Negotiating, querying
with the infinite vastness of the sky,
Kept all the birds ,stars, light, clouds
along with the chirpings
In her sack..
The thunder bolt exploded
between the walls.
On a dull morning, treading gently
raised her neck towards the sky,
With the outspread wings.

ಅದೊಂದು ಘಳಿಗೆ
ಮೂಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ
ಸಣ್ಣನೆಯ ದನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ
ಆಕಾಶದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ
ಹಾರಿಬಂದ ಮಾತಿಗೆ
ಕುತೂಹಲಿಯಾದಳು
ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಸೆರಗಲ್ಲಿ
ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆ
ಎತ್ತರ ಎತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರೆದುಕೊಂಡ
ಆಕಾಶ
ಅಚ್ಚರಿ ಸಾಲು ಸಾಲು
ಚಿತ್ತಾರ ಮೋಡ
ಕೆಂಪು ಬೆಳಕು
ಆಕೆ ಆಸೆಯ ಆಸೆಗೆ ಈಡಾಗಿ
ಆಕಾಶ ನೋಡುವ ಹುಚ್ಚಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದಳು
ಸಂಜೆ ಹಿತ್ತಲಿನ ಆಕಾಶ ಕಂಡು
ಅಸ್ವಸ್ತಳಾದಳು
ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಗೋಡೆಗಳಾಚೆ
ಆಕಾಶಕೆ ತೆರೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಬಯಕೆ
ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದಳು
ಅದಕೆ ಪುಕ್ಕ ಬಳಿದಳು
ಒಂದು ಬೆಳಗು ಮತ್ತೆ ಸಂಜೆ
ಆಕಾಶದ ಅನಂತತೆಯೊಡನೆ
ಸಂಧಾನ ಅನುಸಂಧಾನ
ಹಕ್ಕಿ ಚುಕ್ಕಿ,ಬೆಳಕು,ಮೋಡ
ಚಿಲಿಪಿಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಜೋಳಿಗೆಗೆ
ಗೋಡೆಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಗುಡುಗು
ಗುಡುಗುಡಿಸಿತು
ಮಂದ ಮುಂಜಾವಿನಲ್ಲಿ
ಮೆದು ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಊರಿ
ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹೊರದೂಡಿ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಣುಕಿದಳು
ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳು ಅರಳಿದವು..
